Daniel E. Offutt III Exhibition

Dan Offutt lived on Kettle Creek Road in Weston for 30 years in a house that he built. If you visited his property you would see one of his proudest possessions – a tobacco barn – as well as many of his whimsical sculptures. He was a man of many interests: tennis player, traveler, sailor, metal sculptor, wood worker, fixer of anything, collector of everything, lover of projects, and a stock market investor.

Learn more about his life, former property and artwork in this exhibit. Take a virtual tour of the exhibit.

The Daniel E. Offutt III, Charitable Trust has made a big impact in Weston, a town that Mr. Offutt loved, through donations to Weston EMS, the Weston Library and other nonprofits in Weston. The Weston Historical Society thanks the Trust for making the renovation of the Coley House and Barn a reality.
