Weston History Bites: One-Room School House

What was it like to attend a one-room schoolhouse? Would you have wanted to attend one?

Thanks to The Chronicle Quarterly newsletter we can learn about school life in a one-room school from former Weston residents.

The first two remembrances are from Mrs. Lillian Squires Morton and Mrs. Ruth Lockwood. Both are from an article in The Chronicle from 1983 No. 4. The last remembrance is from Raymond Fitch from an article in The 2007 No. 2 Chronicle.

Do you have family members that attended one-room schools? If so, share your family stories with us!
