Weston History Bites: The Milk Wagon
Who poured milk on their cereal this morning? We sure did! 100 years ago, a good majority of your dairy products would be delivered to your doorstep via milk wagon. We have an antique milk wagon in our collection in the Coley Barn. When the 3rd grade students visited the historical society this past December, they loved seeing the milk wagon and learning about how milk was delivered all around town.
The Weston Historical Society's Chronicle Newsletter included an article about the history of the milk wagon in their 1999 No. 2 issue.
