Weston History Bites: Scott & Betty Hill in Weston during WW2

Today let's learn about an early president of the Weston Historical Society as well as the person who started the Society's first oral history project, Scott Hill. Scott and his wife Betty were well-known long time residents, active volunteers, and an integral part of town life. The Hill family lived on Lyons Plains Road, right at the juncture of Davis Hill, Valley Forge and Kellogg Hill.

Their daughter, Lisa Paulson, wrote about her parents in her book, "Living World War II: One Family in Weston CT". This oral history is in the form of a video-taped lecture by Lisa in which she reads from her father's letters written between 1939 and 1945. She also adds her own childhood reminiscences of that time.
