Weston History Bites: Oral History of Mort Schindel

On March 3, 2020, Weston Historical Society Trustee, Kathy Failla, and Executive Director, Samantha Kulish-Fargione, visited the 2nd graders at Hurlbutt Elementary School to teach them about important people from Weston! The children loved learning about Mort Schindel, founder and creative force behind Weston Woods, known world-wide as a pioneer in adapting famous children’s books into animated films. Mort's oral history and video was produced by the Weston Woods Institute, with photography by Bruce Ando.
