Carla Marina Marchese, owner of Red Bee Honey in Weston, CT, will present a virtual lecture “Honeybees and Honey: Historical Notes from a Local Beekeeper” hosted by the Weston Historical Society and the Weston Pollinator Pathway on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at 6:30 pm via Zoom.

During this virtual lecture, author and beekeeper Marina Marchese will share her experiences as a beekeeper, as chronicled in her book, “HONEYBEE Lessons from an Accidental Beekeeper.” Learn about the illustrious history of honeybees and how it changed her perspective of the natural world. Guests will also get a video recorded tour of the apiary.
