Second Grade Tours

Educate

The second grade students come to the Weston Historical Society to study how life was on an 1840’s farm. The children are given a tour of the 1841 home where the family lived, the barn where much of the farm work was done. The children can shell corn, and work together with a two-man saw. The Archive facility provides pictures of Weston’s various industries and the children are shown tools from the Bradley Edge Tool Company, as well as The Weston Toy Factory.
