Longtime Weston resident, Karin Giannitti, and the Weston History & Culture Center’s Executive Director, Samantha Fargione will lead a walking tour of the Coley Cemetery, revealing the history of the cemetery as well as some of the notable individuals and families buried there. Gravestone art and iconography will also be explored.
Approximate Duration: 70 minutes.

Terrain: Please wear sturdy shoes! Cemetery terrain is uneven, rocky, and has inclines.

Start Location: The Coley Cemetery is located on Weston Road ( Rte. 57) behind Weston Gardens. Parking along the road and at the Coley Cemetery is very limited! If you can, please consider carpooling. If you plan on carpooling, you can leave a car at the Weston History & Culture Center – 104 Weston Road – and carpool to the cemetery from there.

Post-Walk Plans: After the cemetery tour, come back to the Weston History & Culture Center for snacks and a guided tour of the Coley House. The former residents of the Coley House are buried at the Coley Cemetery.
